BA Fine Art will challenge you to develop an experimental practice within the context of an internationally renowned course. You will work within one of 4 pathways, 2D, 3D, 4D and XD, offering you a practice-based approach to technical, conceptual, historical and critical contexts.
BA (Hons) Fine Art (Extension Degree) The Extension Degree (Year 0) has been designed specifically for students from countries outside the European Union. Our aim is to enable you to work independently as an artist, and to generate and develop your own ideas.

Does anyone know if it is possible to still obtain a Bachelor (Hons) in Fine Art at Goldsmiths even if you fail your dissertation? I have had a really complicated time due to severe depression and I have already failed my dissertation once and am now resitting it.
Mode of study. BA Fine Art is offered in full-time mode. It is divided into 3 stages over 3 academic years. Each stage consists of 30 teaching weeks. You will be expected to commit an average of 40 hours per week to your course, including teaching hours and independent study.
Dissertation and Application (20 credits) This is a self-directed module where you select your own topic of research related to Fine Art or visual culture.
